Travel Tip: Bring Your Own Shampoo

When traveling via plane, it is very easy to cram your suitcase full of clothes, and then race over to your toilet bag and decide there is not enough room to bring your huge bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Technically, you could just use the stuff at the hotel, right? WRONG. Shampoo and conditioner at hotels tend to leave your hair fairly dry (with the exception of some hotels). Actually, this would be the case for any no-name brand of shampoo and conditioner.

No-name brand shampoo strips away natural nutrients from your hair, while no-name brand conditioner acts as a sealant to your hair, acting as if it is moisturizing when it is not. A word of advice? B.Y.O.S. (Bring Your Own Shampoo). Obviously packing the full sized bottle isn’t as easy as it sounds, but there is always the Japonesque Handi Bottle Pack-in Pouch!

This nifty set will allow you to pack all your hair care needs, facial needs, or anything else that needs to be downsized for your travels. Rather than going out and buying the travel size version of every stylistic product you use, you can spend just under $15 and save a bunch!
